Life Force
Life Force was organized in the early seventies by Joe Jennings and Howard Nicholson as an outlet for original material, as well as a unit to perform the work of the master composers of the Jazz idiom. Throughout its existence, Life Force has been featured in clubs, festivals, and colleges around the country. More recently Life Force was featured at the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Savannah Jazz Festival,and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Den Hague, Netherlands. In February of 1994, Life Force had the honor of being selected to perform at the 1994 WinterGames in Lillehammer, Norway, as a part of the Cultural 0lympiad’s Exchange pr0gram. Life Force served as a performance outlet for some of the finest musicians in the Southeast.
